Why choose the Capisco 8105?
The 8105 keeps the part of the Capisco that matters most when you work at height: the saddle seat. It opens the angle between your thighs and torso so you can sit upright and lean in to the work, then turn or slide off without a backrest in the way.
With no backrest it weighs 7.4 kg, against 12.1 kg for the 8106, so it moves easily between a bench, a lab counter and a sit-stand desk. On the 265 mm gas lift it reaches a seat height of 53–79 cm, high enough to perch at a raised desk rather than stand (38–52 cm on the 150 mm lift, 44–62 cm on the 200 mm lift; Flokk's figures). If you want something to lean against, the 8106 is the Capisco with a backrest.

Returns: because each chair is built to your specification, made-to-order chairs can’t be returned for change of mind once your order is in production. If you need to cancel before production starts, contact us and we will confirm whether it can still be cancelled and any costs already committed. Capisco in Every Setting
Capisco 8105: questions
Choose by working height. On Flokk's figures the 150 mm lift gives a seat height of 38–52 cm, the 200 mm lift 44–62 cm and the 265 mm lift 53–79 cm. Benches, drawing tables and raised sit-stand desks usually call for the 265 mm lift; a standard 72–75 cm desk suits the 200 mm lift. Ring us on 02 9640 0642 with your work-surface height if you are unsure.
Yes, with the 200 mm or 265 mm gas lift. The foot ring gives your feet a rest when you perch high. It is not available with the 150 mm lift, and the configurator removes it automatically if you choose that lift.
No. The 8105 is the backless model and has no backrest option. If you want the same saddle seat with a height-adjustable backrest, design an 8106 instead.
It is made to order by HÅG in Norway. Typical lead time is 14–16 weeks from order. We keep you updated if anything changes.
Yes. Flokk guarantees HÅG chairs against production defects for 10 years in normal use of up to 9 hours a day (5 years beyond that), on the terms set out on our warranty page. Claims are handled by Chair Dinkum in Sydney, and the warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Parts & accessories for your Capisco
Every Capisco and Capisco Puls uses the same HÅG gas lifts, so you can change your seat height later. Working at a standing desk? Fit the 265 mm Capisco gas lift; our Capisco Puls gas lift guide shows the seat height each one gives. Replacing a worn gas lift? You'll need the HÅG gas lift unblocking tool to remove the old one. On thick carpet, 65 mm Capisco castors roll more easily.
