Colebrook Bosson Saunders is a British design studio that has been making monitor arms since before most people had a second screen. Its Flo mechanism is the reference point for spring-assisted movement, and the arms hold position without needing retensioning every few months.

    Flo, Flo X and Ollin

The Flo Single and Flo Dual take screens from 2 to 7 kg, up to 34″, flat or curved to 1000R. That covers the large majority of monitors sold today. CBS redesigned the Flo in 2025 with patent-pending Dual Rate Spring Technology, 49% recycled content and plastic-free packaging, and it won a Good Design Award that year.

Above 7 kg you want the Flo X, rated 3 to 18 kg and good for screens up to 49″ at 32:9 as well as dual and triple setups. The Flo X replaced the older Flo Plus in the CBS range. We order it in — call us on 02 9640 0642 with your monitor model and we will price it.

Ollin is the cleaner, more minimal option where the arm itself is visible in a client-facing space.

    Before you order

Check three things: your monitor's weight, its VESA pattern, and your desk thickness. An arm rated below your screen weight will sag no matter how you adjust it, and one rated above it will push the screen upward. Use the weight on the manufacturer's spec sheet, not the shipping weight on the box, which includes the stand. Our compatibility checklist covers this in four steps.

CBS arms carry a 12-year warranty, which is unusually long for a product with a spring mechanism and tells you something about how they are built. That warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
