Framery Soundproof Pods
Open-plan offices solved collaboration and created a noise problem. Framery publishes ISO 23351-1 test figures for every pod in the range, which not every supplier does, and Chair Dinkum is an authorised Australian Framery dealer.

Choosing a pod size
Framery One and One Compact are single-person booths for calls and focused work, and the Compact is the one to specify when floor space is tight. Framery Four is a meeting pod for up to four people, and suits teams that need a bookable space for video calls without building a room.
Acoustics are the specification that matters
All three pods are rated Class A, 30 DS,A dB speech level reduction under ISO 23351-1 — the standard that measures the assembled pod rather than a single wall panel. If you are comparing suppliers, ask every one of them for that figure and the acoustic class, because a bare decibel number with no standard named is usually a laboratory measurement of one panel and is not comparable. Our brand-neutral guide to comparing acoustic pods explains how to read the numbers.
Warranty: read the component breakdown, not the headline
Framery's warranty is often quoted as a flat five years. It is not. Cover runs 5 years on structure and standard parts, 2 years on wear parts (gas lifts, levelling gliders, fabrics, felt, carpet, door, door seals, hinges, locks), 2 years on electronics (LED lighting, fans, power and USB chargers, wireless chargers, screens, motion sensors, motor-driven height adjustment), and 1 year on Framery Connect sensors.
Two conditions decide whether that cover is live: the warranty must be activated by completing Framery's installation report form, and the pod must be installed by a Framery-trained installer, or Framery is not obliged to remedy defects. Defects must be reported within 21 days of discovery.
This is the practical reason to buy through an authorised dealer. We complete the installation report and use Framery-trained installers as a matter of course, so your warranty is active from day one. Ask any grey-market supplier you are comparing how they handle both — a pod installed outside those terms is an uncovered pod. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and full terms for every brand we carry are on our warranty page.
Fit-out and delivery
Pods require site access planning, and installation is carried out by trained installers. A Framery Four weighs 520 kg assembled and arrives as two crates, the heavier one 395 kg and 2.26 m long — so the lift, not the loading dock, is usually the constraint. Our guide to getting a Framery pod into your building sets out the verified weights, crate sizes, clearances, room heights and floor loading for all three pods.
For multi-pod orders, floor plans and lead times, see our guide to specifying Framery pods for Australian fit-outs, the Framery specification guide, or contact us for a project quote.
Servicing and looking after your pods
A pod's acoustic performance depends on a compressible door seal meeting a correctly aligned door, and both wear. Our Framery pod care and maintenance guide covers what to clean with what, the checks worth doing quarterly, and what will void your warranty if you do it yourself. If a pod has already stopped being private, this diagnostic guide explains the five usual causes and how to tell them apart.
We service, repair and relocate Framery pods Australia-wide, including pods bought from another supplier.
