Get the size right first — and size by height AND weight
The Aeron comes in three sizes, A, B and C, and this is not a marketing distinction. Unlike chairs with a single adjustable shell, an Aeron in the wrong size cannot be adjusted to fit — the seat depth is fixed by the size you buy.
Herman Miller sizes the Aeron on height and weight together, not height alone. Its size and fit reference is a chart running from 142 cm to 200 cm and from 41 kg to 181 kg, and you choose by finding where your height and your weight intersect. Two people the same height can take different sizes. Size B covers the whole height range and is the size most people land on; Size C is driven more by weight than by height; and Size A is a narrow specification, applying between 142 and 155 cm and between 41 and 54 kg. Where you fall in a shared region, Herman Miller recommends Size B, because the B-size chair is designed to fit a broad range of people.
On ratings, the sizes are tested and warranted to these figures — Size A up to 136 kg; Sizes B & C up to 159 kg. Those are ceilings the size is built to, not selection brackets. Read our Aeron size guide before ordering — it carries Herman Miller's chart in full — or ring us on 02 9640 0642.
Which back support
Herman Miller lists four back supports for the Aeron: Basic Back Support, PostureFit, Adjustable Lumbar Support and Adjustable PostureFit SL. Every Aeron we hold is the PostureFit SL specification, which is two independently flexing pads, one supporting the lumbar and one stabilising the sacrum. Classic or Remastered
Both are genuine Aerons. The Remastered has the newer mesh and the updated tilt, and is the current production model. Our Classic versus Remastered comparison sets out what actually changed.

Graphite, Mineral and Onyx, with satin or polished aluminium bases on selected configurations. All can be inspected at our Pyrmont showroom by appointment.
Genuine stock, and a 12-year warranty we service ourselves
Our Aerons are genuine, brand-new Herman Miller product, supplied as international parallel imports — which describes the supply route, not the chair. Because they are sourced outside Herman Miller's authorised Australian channel, the cover on them is our own 12-year Chair Dinkum warranty rather than Herman Miller's: frame, mechanism, gas lift, base, armrest structure and Pellicle mesh, assessed and handled here in Sydney on 02 9640 0642.
