Flokk's published HÅG warranty is written for chairs: 10 years against material and manufacturing faults in normal use up to 9 hours a day (5 years beyond that). It covers any necessary spare parts, and excludes labour, transport and normal wear and tear. Flokk does not publish a separate term for parts and accessories bought on their own, so ring us on 02 9640 0642 before you buy if the term matters to you.

When glides are the right call

Glides replace the castors with fixed feet. They are the right choice in three situations: a chair used at standing height, where a chair that rolls away is a fall risk; a lab or clinical bay where the chair must stay where it is; and a hard floor with a slope you did not notice until you sat down.

When to keep your castors

If you move between positions at your desk all day, glides are the wrong call: on carpet they take real effort to shift. Both glides and castors push into the same sockets, so if you are unsure, either choice can be undone in five minutes.

Glides wear flat over time, and a worn glide can start to mark a hard floor. Replace the set when they do.
