Why add a footring?
When you raise your Capisco to perching height (using the 200mm or 265mm gas lift at a sit-stand desk), your feet may not reach the floor comfortably. The footring gives your feet a natural resting point while still allowing freedom of movement.
Its circular shape means you can shift foot placement throughout the day without thinking about it. Rest both feet, one foot, or use it as a push-off point to swivel. It supports the dynamic sitting that makes the Capisco different from conventional chairs.

The footring clips directly onto the gas lift column (the cylindrical tube between the seat mechanism and the star base). No tools are needed. Slide it over the column and it locks into position. To remove it, press the release clip and slide it off.
Yes. The standard height is 245mm from the floor. You can add up to three spacers (sold separately) to raise it in 60mm increments: 305mm, 365mm, or 425mm. This lets you fine-tune the footrest position to match your preferred seat height.
No. The 150mm gas lift does not provide enough column length for the footring to attach. You need either the 200mm or 265mm gas lift. If you currently have a 150mm and want to add a footring, you will need to upgrade your gas lift first.
It does not need to match, but it looks best when it does. The footring colours are designed to be identical to the HAG Capisco base colours (Black, White, Silver, Moss Grey, Blush Rose), so choosing the same colour gives a cohesive look.
