Framery Prices in Australia — Request a Quote
Chair Dinkum is an authorised Australian Framery dealer, based at 1/209 Harris Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009. This page gives indicative pricing for every Framery model we supply, explains what moves the final number up or down, and sets out exactly what to send us so the quote comes back accurate the first time. Call 02 9640 0642 or use our contact page.
Indicative pricing
These are starting prices for the standard configuration of each model. All three pods are rated Class A, 30 DS,A dB speech level reduction under ISO 23351-1, so acoustic performance is not what separates them. Size, capacity and interior fit-out are.
- Framery One Compact — from $14,200. One person. Exterior 225 × 103 × 100 cm, footprint 1.03 m², minimum room height 235 cm. Maximum airflow 36 L/s. Fold-out desk, power outlet, USB charging. Model detail: Framery One Compact Australia.
- Framery One — from $19,600. One person. Exterior 225.5 × 122 × 100 cm, footprint 1.22 m², minimum room height 240 cm. Maximum airflow 26 L/s, 28 W. Sit-stand desk, LED lighting, power and USB charging, Framery Smart connectivity. Model detail: Framery One Australia.
- Framery Four — from $31,800. Up to four people. Exterior 232.9 × 235.2 × 129.2 cm, footprint 3.04 m², minimum room height 238 cm. Adaptive ventilation to 100 L/s, 52 W. Central table with display mount, power and USB charging. Model detail: Framery Four Australia.
One number catches people out when they compare the two single-person booths. The One Compact moves more air than the full Framery One — 36 L/s against 26 L/s — into a smaller internal volume. If you are weighing up the step from Compact to One, ventilation is not the reason to spend the extra $5,400. Interior width and the sit-stand desk are.
What changes the final price
The figures above are a starting point, not a quote. Six things move the number:
- Layout. This applies mainly to the Framery Four, which comes in four interior layouts — Base, Lite, Essentials and Accessible. Base leaves the pod clear for your own furniture; the others include tables, seating and fittings, and they price differently.
- Finish. Exterior and interior finish selections change the price. Tell us if you are matching an existing fit-out palette and we will price the closest options rather than guessing.
- Connectivity. Framery Smart connectivity and Framery Connect sensors are configuration decisions with their own cost, and they also affect what your IT team needs to provision before delivery.
- Delivery location. Freight to a Sydney CBD address and freight to regional Western Australia are not the same line item. We quote delivery to the actual address, not to a capital city.
- Site access. Loading dock, lift dimensions, doorway widths, corners, stair runs and after-hours or security-escort requirements all change the labour on the day. Difficult access is the most common reason a quote comes back higher than someone expected.
- Installation scope. Whether we are installing a single pod into an occupied floor or sequencing a dozen across a staged fit-out changes the crew, the timing and the price.
What to send us
Send these six things and we can usually price the job without a site visit:
- A floor plan with the intended pod positions marked, or a rough sketch with dimensions if the plan is not drawn yet.
- The number of pods and which models, or a description of how they will be used if you want us to recommend the mix.
- Your target date for the pods to be in use, and whether that date is fixed by a lease, a move or a handover.
- Building type — commercial office tower, warehouse conversion, education, healthcare, or a fit-out inside an existing tenancy.
- Floor level and whether the slab is on ground or suspended.
- Lift access — internal dimensions and door opening of the goods lift, plus any dock booking or after-hours restrictions.
If you already know your ceiling height, add it. Minimum room height differs by model — 235 cm for the One Compact, 240 cm for the Framery One, 238 cm for the Framery Four — and it should be checked against a measured site dimension rather than a reflected ceiling plan, because services are rarely where the plan says they are.
Lead times
We do not publish a lead time. Framery pods are manufactured in Finland and freighted to Australia, so delivery depends on Framery's production schedule and on shipping at the time you order. Both move. We confirm a lead time with your written quote, against the configuration you have actually chosen, rather than quoting a number on this page that we might not be able to hold to.
If your date is fixed, say so in your first message. It changes what we recommend — sometimes toward a model or configuration that is more readily available.
Why our quote includes installation
Framery's warranty is often quoted as a flat five years. It is not. Cover is applied per component:
- 5 years — structure and standard parts
- 2 years — wear parts: gas lifts, levelling gliders, fabrics, felt, carpet, the door, door seals, hinges and locks
- 2 years — electronics: LED lighting, fans, power and USB chargers, wireless chargers, screens, motion sensors, motor-driven height adjustment
- 1 year — Framery Connect sensors
Two conditions decide whether any of that cover exists. The warranty must be activated by completing Framery's installation report form, and the pod must be installed by a Framery-trained installer. If either is missed, Framery is not obliged to remedy defects. Defects must be notified within 21 days of discovery, and software is supplied without warranty.
That is why a quote from an authorised dealer and a quote from a parallel importer are not comparable documents even when the pod is identical. Where we install, we complete the report and use Framery-trained installers, so your cover is live from handover. Whoever you buy from, require the completed installation report as a handover deliverable alongside the O&M documentation. Full terms are on our warranty page. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If your site is in New South Wales
Building Commission NSW practice advice issued 24 January 2025 states that office pods are rooms rather than furniture, and that their installation is to be treated as building work. No other state has published equivalent advice. If your project is in NSW, raise this with your certifier before you order, not after the pods arrive.
The advice specifically names the risk that a pod may attenuate the building's occupant warning system. A pod good enough for Class A speech privacy is also good at muffling an alarm, so expect that to be tested with the door shut. We can supply the technical documentation, dimensions, weights and power requirements your consultants need, but the certification questions belong to your building surveyor or fire engineer, not to us.
What happens next
- Send us the six items above through our contact page, or call 02 9640 0642.
- We read the plan and come back with questions — usually about access, ceiling height and power.
- You get a written quote that itemises the pods, delivery to your address, and installation scope, with the lead time confirmed against your configuration.
- For multi-pod orders we include a delivery and installation sequence alongside the price, so the fit-out programme can be built around it.
