Ergotron's LX Pro: the aluminium successor to the LX, for one screen of 1.8 to 10 kg and up to 34 inches. Constant Force lift through 33 cm, 65.6 cm of reach, 85 degrees of tilt, a two-piece clamp for desks up to 60 mm, and Ergotron's 10-year warranty.
The LX, Brought Up to Date
Ergotron calls its LX line a trusted choice for over 20 years, and the LX Pro the next generation of it: an aluminium arm with the same Constant Force™ lift, a smaller base, a cable cover, a tension indicator, a rotation stop and more tilt.
Ergotron rates it for one screen of 1.8 to 10 kg and up to 34 inches, with 33 cm of lift and 65.6 cm of reach.
Fewer Parts, Faster to Fit
The LX Pro arrives as a base and pole, the arm, an extension and a detachable monitor pivot, so the head goes on the screen first and then clicks onto the arm. Ergotron's tension indicator lets you set the spring to the screen before it goes on, which speeds up a fit-out of many desks.
The two-piece clamp has three settings: up to 10 mm, 12 to 35 mm and 37 to 60 mm. A grommet-mount version exists as a separate part (45-708); ask us if you need it.

Tension Indicator, Rotation Stop, Cable Cover
Ergotron lists four additions over the original LX: a cable cover, a tension indicator, a rotation stop and a wider tilt range. The tension indicator shows the spring setting, so the arm can be set to a screen's weight before the screen goes on.
The base pans 360°, or 180° with the rotation stop engaged, which keeps the arm off a wall or partition behind the desk. Tilt runs 70° up and 15° down.
This Model
This listing is the Ergotron LX Pro Desk Monitor Arm with the standard two-piece desk clamp, in matte black (45-682-292) or white (45-682-290). In the box: arm, extension, monitor pivot, two-piece desk clamp, 13.5 cm pole and attachment hardware.
Two screens? See the LX Pro Dual Side-by-Side or the LX Pro Dual Stacking Arm. A screen heavier than 10 kg needs the HX.
Why We Stock the Ergotron LX Pro
We stock the LX Pro because the LX is the arm many offices already know, and this is Ergotron's current version of it: the same Constant Force™ lift for screens of 1.8 to 10 kg, with a detachable monitor pivot, a tension indicator and a clamp that covers desks up to 60 mm. Ergotron tests it to 10,000 lift cycles.
