A Quiet Electric Sit-to-Stand Desk
The Syntra is Buro's electric height adjustable desk: a powder-coated steel round-leg frame on adjustable levelling feet, under a 25 mm FSC®-certified E0 board top with a white laminate finish and 2 mm ABS edging. Buro rates the motors at 48 decibels. The 5-key control gives you up and down, two memory presets and Healthy Spine Mode, which raises the desk 12 cm over 3 minutes, pauses for 2 minutes, lowers it 12 cm over 2 minutes and repeats (Buro's assembly instructions).
Buro states the Syntra range meets ANSI/BIFMA X5.5:2021 for desk and table products and is RCM compliant. Every size has a white top; the frame is white or black.

Three Sizes, Two Different Frames
The sizes are not one desk scaled up. Buro's figures:
- 1200 × 600 mm: a single 48 dB motor on a 2-stage telescopic frame; height 710–1160 mm at 18 mm/s; Buro's rated load 100 kg; desk weight 30 kg; cable management duct included; one carton.
- 1500 × 750 mm: dual 48 dB motors on a 3-stage variable-width telescopic frame; height 650–1300 mm at 30 mm/s; Buro's rated load capacity 140 kg; desk weight 46 kg; two cartons.
- 1800 × 750 mm: the same dual-motor 3-stage frame, 650–1300 mm and 140 kg; desk weight 50 kg; two cartons.
So the 1500 and 1800 go 60 mm lower and 140 mm higher than the 1200, move faster and carry more. Buro lists the Australian Physiotherapy Association endorsement for the 1500 and 1800 only.

Two Frames, Matched to Size
The 1500 and 1800 × 750 use dual motors on a 3-stage variable-width frame: 650–1300 mm at 30 mm/s. The 1200 × 600 uses a single motor on a 2-stage frame: 710–1160 mm at 18 mm/s. Buro rates both at 48 dB.
5-Key Control with Memory
Up, down, two memory presets and Healthy Spine Mode, which raises and lowers the desk 12 cm on a timed, repeating cycle.
Safety Built In
Anti-collision interference technology with overheat and overload protection. After more than 2 minutes of continuous adjustment the control shows Hot and needs about 18 minutes to cool (Buro's instructions).
FSC-Certified Top
A 25 mm FSC®-certified E0 board top in white laminate with 2 mm ABS edging and pre-drilled t-nut holes for accurate assembly.
Cable Management
The 1200 includes a cable management duct. Buro's cable spine (SYNSGLRDLGCBLSPN) is an option on every size and is fitted in Buro's photographs of the 1500 and 1800.

Choose the size and the frame colour; every top is white. Buro codes: SYN1260HADRDLWHWH and SYN1260HADRDLBLWH (1200 × 600, white or black frame), SYN1575WHWH and SYN1575BLWH (1500 × 750), SYN1875WHWH and SYN1875BLWH (1800 × 750). The optional cable spine is quoted separately on 02 9640 0642, and Buro also supplies the 1500 and 1800 frame without a top.

The 1200 × 600 has a single motor on a 2-stage frame: 710–1160 mm at 18 mm/s, with a 100 kg rating. The 1500 and 1800 × 750 have dual motors on a 3-stage frame: 650–1300 mm at 30 mm/s, with Buro's 140 kg load capacity. The bigger two also go lower and higher, which suits a wider range of user heights.
