Two Screens That Move As One
The ZGX-DS puts both monitors on a single crossbar with a grab handle in the middle. That is a different proposition from two independent arms: the pair stays edge to edge and level, and one hand on the handle moves both. For anyone reading across two screens all day — dispatch, trading, monitoring, editing — the seam staying put is the whole point.
Zgonic rates it for two screens of 3 to 4.6 kg each, up to 27 inches, with 674 mm of reach and 290 mm of vertical travel.

Angling the Pair
Each head has 12 degrees of inward or outward angle, so the two screens can be toed in slightly to face the chair rather than sitting dead flat — which is what stops the outer edges falling away at a viewing angle. Each head also rotates to portrait and tilts 20 degrees either way independently.
Dual rotation stops sit at the centre and rear joints, so the whole assembly can be limited as well as the base.

The Crossbar and Its Handle
Both monitors sit on one crossbar with a grab handle in the middle, so the pair stays edge to edge and level and one hand moves both. If you read across the seam all day, that is the whole point.
12° of Angle Per Screen
Each head angles 12° in or out, so the pair can be toed in to face the chair rather than sitting dead flat. Each head also rotates to portrait and tilts 20° either way independently.
Dial-Stop
A patent-pending dial at the base limits the swing to 180° or leaves the full 360°, so a pair of screens cannot be swung into a wall behind the desk. Rotation stops also sit at the centre and rear joints.
Fitted From Above the Desk
The top-down clamp goes on from above: one person, one tool, no crawling underneath, and it can be done at a desk somebody is still using. Universal-rail, two-piece and bolt-through clamps are available to order.

Installation
Fitted From Above the Desk
The top-down clamp is the reason Zgonic gets specified for large fit-outs. Most clamps need someone underneath the desk with a spanner, which means clearing the workstation and often moving the desk. Zgonic's goes on from above: one person, one tool, no crawling, and it can be done at a desk that somebody is still using.
It takes 16 to 33 mm or 33 to 50 mm tops depending on which clamp you specify; universal-rail, two-piece and bolt-through clamps are available to order for benching systems and glass tops.

And our silver stock is photographed from the previous generation, which does not show the Dial-Stop dial; the alt text on that image says so.

Frequently Asked Questions
Check three things: the screen's weight in kilograms (the number that matters most), its VESA hole pattern on the back, and your desk's thickness where the clamp goes. The weight range is in the specifications above; almost every office monitor is VESA 75 × 75 or 100 × 100. Zgonic's table gives 3 to 4.6 kg per screen and up to 27 inches each, so two 27-inch office monitors are the intended load. Two large ultrawides are not. If your screen has no VESA holes, a VESA adapter plate is usually available for it — send us the model on 02 9640 0642 and we will check before you order.
A crossbar keeps the two screens level and edge to edge and moves them together, which is what you want if you read across the seam. Two independent arms let each screen sit at its own height and angle, which is what you want if one is a main display and the other is a reference screen off to the side. Both are fine; the crossbar is the neater of the two on the desk.
It limits how far the assembly can swing — 180 degrees or the full 360 — from a dial at the base of the post, so a pair of screens cannot be swung into a wall or partition behind the desk. The ZGX-DS also has rotation stops at the centre and rear joints.
Yes. Zgonic's top-down clamp fits entirely from above the desk, so nobody is underneath with a spanner and the workstation does not need clearing. Note that Zgonic does not publish a desk-thickness figure specifically for the ZGX-DS; its ZG1 and ZG2 clamps take 16 to 33 mm or 33 to 50 mm and we will confirm yours on 02 9640 0642.
The spring tension is set for the weight of your screen. If the arm rises on its own the tension is too high; if it sags it is too low. Turn the adjuster in the direction marked until the screen stays wherever you put it. It is a normal setup step, not a fault, and it needs redoing whenever you change screens.
Zgonic publishes a 10-year limited warranty on this arm against defects in materials and workmanship in normal use. Zgonic asks for claims by email to [email protected] with proof of purchase.
