Two Screens, Slid Into Line
M/Flex is Humanscale's modular monitor-arm system: a post that takes one, two, three or more M2 Pro or M8 Pro arms, so screens can be added, removed or rearranged without taking the original installation off the desk. Humanscale describes it as the most scalable solution for the modern workplace, and rates the whole system, arms and screens together, at up to 40.8 kg.
This is the two-screen version with sliders: two M2 Pro arms on an M/Flex post, each ending in a slider rather than a fixed tilt head, so the monitors can be slid sideways along a track to space and align them without moving the arms.
Bezels That Meet
Sliders solve the problem two-screen desks always have: getting the bezels to meet in the middle at the same height. Each screen slides along its track for spacing, the arms set the height and depth, and the pair can be re-spaced in seconds when the desk is shared or the screens are changed.
Humanscale rates a slider end for flat screens up to 5.7 kg, which covers most 24 and 27-inch office monitors without their stands.
The Details
Five Things That Make It an M/Flex M2 Pro Dual with Sliders
The mount, the spring, the joints, the cable route and the VESA head, with Humanscale's figures beside them.

An M/Flex Post, Not a Fixed One
Both arms share a single two-piece clamp mount on an M/Flex post, so a third arm can be added, or the pair rearranged, without taking the original installation off the desk. System capacity is 40.8 kg for arms and screens together.

Weight-Compensating Spring
Humanscale's patented spring balances each screen so it moves with a fingertip and holds position without knobs. Each slider end is rated for a flat screen of up to 5.7 kg.

Quick Release Joints
The joints come apart and go back together without tools, so the arms can be reconfigured or extended and another arm added to the post later.

Smart Stop and Cable Route
Smart Stop sets an adjustable rotation limit, so neither arm swings into a wall, and the cable runs inside the arm rather than across the desk.

Sliders Instead of Fixed Heads
Each arm ends in a slider rather than a fixed tilt head, so the screens slide sideways along a track until the bezels meet in the middle at the same height, and re-space in seconds. Both carry a standard 100 × 100 / 75 × 75 mm VESA plate; curved screens are not rated on sliders.

This Model
This listing is the M/Flex M2 Pro dual monitor arm with sliders (Humanscale code X221DSBC in black, X221DSWC in white): an M/Flex clamp post with two M2 Pro arms, each with a slider and a 100 × 100 / 75 × 75 mm VESA plate. Rated for two flat screens of up to 5.7 kg each on the sliders; system capacity 40.8 kg, and more arms can be added.
Humanscale states the M/Flex M2 Pro is Living Product Certified, meeting the Living Future Institute's criteria for a climate, water and energy positive product. It is supplied from Humanscale Australia's stock with Humanscale's 15-year warranty.
Why We Stock It
We stock Humanscale's M-series because it is the arm that still works in year ten: a spring, not a gas strut, machined joints, and a 15-year warranty that Humanscale actually publishes. It is also the arm that pairs with the Humanscale chairs we sell, which matters when a whole workstation is being specified.
Call 02 9640 0642 with your screen sizes and weights and we will match the arm, the mount and any links you need; we can also show you the M-series alongside the CBS and Thinking Works arms at our Pyrmont showroom, 1/209 Harris Street.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sliders if the two screens need to sit edge to edge and you want to re-space them without moving the arms: shared desks, trading desks, anyone who swaps between two screens and one ultra-wide. Plain tilt heads, on the M/Flex M2 Pro dual, carry a heavier screen (up to 10 kg each against 5.7 kg on a slider) and cost less. Curved screens are not rated on sliders.
Yes, that is the point of M/Flex. Additional M2 Pro or M8 Pro arms fit the same post, and Humanscale designed it so monitors can be added or removed without disrupting the original installation. The system limit is 40.8 kg for arms and screens together (27.2 kg with an M/Connect dock fitted). Call 02 9640 0642 and we will specify the extra arm and any link you need.
The arm ships with a standard 100 × 100 / 75 × 75 mm VESA plate, which covers most monitors. Weight is the question that matters: check the monitor's weight (without its stand) on the back panel or the maker's specification and compare it with the range on this page. Too light and the arm drifts up; too heavy and it sags. Humanscale publishes the full capacity table for every arm and mount in the guide linked under Specifications.
The standard two-piece clamp mount fits the rear or side edge of a desk with a solid top and a clear underside; the desk needs enough overhang for the clamp jaw. Humanscale also makes bolt-through and sliding-desk-clamp mounts (12, 18, 25 and 30 mm) for desks with a modesty panel or a thick edge. If your desk is unusual, send us a photo of the edge and we will tell you which mount you need.
Same system, same springs, same warranty. Black disappears behind black monitors; white with polished aluminium suits a white or light desk.
Humanscale's published warranty for this arm is 15 years against defects in materials and workmanship. Chair Dinkum is a Humanscale dealer, so a claim comes to us on 02 9640 0642 and we lodge and manage it with Humanscale. Full terms are on our warranty page, and your Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition.
