One Arm for Heavy Screens
The E5 is HAT Collective's monitor arm system, launched in 2024. This E5 Single Dynamic is the heavy-duty version: HAT rates it for one screen of 5 to 45 lb (2.3–20.4 kg), up to 49 inches, on a spring arm with 267 mm of height adjustment.
Three rotation joints let the screen swing and turn to where you want it, and it pivots from landscape to portrait. The photo shows the arm in black; this listing is the white finish.
Set-Up
Built to Be Installed and Changed
The E5 mounts from above the desk with a C-clamp or through a grommet hole, both included, on worktops up to 38 mm thick. One tool does the install, and it stores in the mount so it is there when the set-up changes.
Rotation stops are set from outside the arm to 90, 180 or 360 degrees, with no need to take it apart. A tension indicator lets you set the spring to the screen's weight before it goes on, and the quick-disconnect VESA plate lets you change screens without tools.

Ultrawide and Curved
Room for a 49-Inch Screen
HAT rates the E5 Single Dynamic for screens up to 49 inches and 2.3 to 20.4 kg, which takes in most ultrawide and curved monitors as well as large single displays. The screen bolts to a quick-disconnect VESA 75 or 100 plate, so it lifts off the arm without tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
If the screen weighs 2.3 to 20.4 kg without its stand, is no larger than 49 inches and has 75 or 100 mm VESA holes, it is within HAT's rating. Note the minimum: a very light screen under 2.3 kg will not hold position on this arm; the E2 Single suits those.
The E5 mounts from above with a C-clamp or through a grommet hole, both included, on worktops up to 38 mm thick. A grommet hole needs to be at least 57 mm across (HAT's cutsheet; its product page says 51 mm). If a beam or modesty panel sits at the back edge, call 02 9640 0642 before you order.
The E2 Single is HAT's everyday arm for 1 to 9 kg screens up to 32 inches, with a 10-year warranty. The E5 Single Dynamic takes heavier and larger screens, to 20.4 kg and 49 inches, adds the quick-disconnect VESA plate and external rotation stops, and carries 15 years.
