Thinking Works C.ME Monitor Arm

A Post, Not Just an Arm

Most monitor arms are one arm on one fixing. The C.ME is a post with arms clamped to it, built on two post heights: a 430 mm standard post for one or two arms, and a 740 mm extended post for two, three or four. On a floor where roles and screen counts change, re-arming a post is quicker than re-specifying a desk.

White (white arm, silver anodised post, white trim) or black (black arm, black anodised post, black trim).

Configurations

Up to Four Screens

Thinking Works lists the C.ME as a single or double arm on the standard post, and a double, triple or quad arm on the extended post. Three and four screens are specialist set-ups for control rooms, dealing desks and edit suites, and each arm moves on its own, so screens can be stepped rather than forced into one flat plane.

Thinking Works states the C.ME's weight capacity as 8 kg per arm. For a triple or quad, call 02 9640 0642 with your screen models and weights and we will confirm the set-up with Thinking Works before you order.

The Details

Five Things That Make It a C.ME

The post, the fittings, the quick-release head, the cable route and the movement.

One Post, Not Just an Arm

Arms clamp to a post: one or two on the 430 mm standard post, two, three or four on the 740 mm extended post.

Two Ways to Fix It

Cables Down the Post

Integrated cable management is included, so cables follow the arm and post rather than crossing the desk.

Tilt, Pan and Rotate

110 degrees of tilt and 180 degrees of pan, and the screen turns 90 degrees from portrait to landscape. Each arm is 445 mm long.

Configuration and Finish

This Listing

Choose the configuration and the finish above. On the standard post: single arm (OTS-MA-1100) or double arm (OTS-MA-1200). On the extended post: double (OTS-MA-1250), triple (OTS-MA-1500) or quad (OTS-MA-1600). Finishes: 021 white arm, silver anodised post, white trim; 022 black arm, black anodised post, black trim.

The fixing is the other decision: the desk clamp for a desk with a clear back edge, or bolt-through where there is a cable hole or the clamp would foul a beam. Both are in the box and suit worktops 18 to 33 mm thick.

Why We Stock It

Because a post system solves a problem a single arm cannot: desks change hands and screen counts change with them, and re-arming a post is quicker than re-fitting a desk. Thinking Works is a Sydney company, founded in 1984, and warranty claims come to us in Sydney.

Call 02 9640 0642 and we will help you choose the post, the arms and the fixing for your desks.

Frequently Asked Questions

The fittings suit worktops 18 to 33 mm thick: the desk clamp for a desk with a clear back edge, bolt-through where there is a cable hole. Both are in the box. The head takes 75 mm and 100 mm VESA patterns, which most office monitors have; check the back of yours. Thinking Works states the weight capacity as 8 kg per arm, so weigh your screens without their stands.

The 430 mm standard post carries a single or double arm. The 740 mm extended post carries a double, triple or quad arm, and suits stacked screens or a taller set-up. Not sure which you need? Call 02 9640 0642 with your screen sizes.

That is the point of a post system: the post stays and arms are added. A standard post is configured for one or two arms; three or four need the extended post. Tell us on 02 9640 0642 which post and configuration you have and we will confirm the parts with Thinking Works.

Thinking Works states the C.ME's weight capacity as 8 kg per arm, so each screen on a triple or quad should weigh no more than 8 kg without its stand. If you are unsure, send us your screen models and weights on 02 9640 0642 and we will confirm with Thinking Works before you order.

7 years. Thinking Works' supplier specification for the C.ME states a 7-year warranty, and claims are handled by Chair Dinkum in Sydney on 02 9640 0642. Full terms are on our warranty page. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty or damaged goods are separate and are not limited by it.

We don't have the C.ME on display at the moment. Call 02 9640 0642 and we can talk you through the post, arm and fixing options before you order.
