The Arm Everyone Copies
The Flo has been the reference office monitor arm since 2011, and CBS rebuilt it in 2025 rather than restyling it. The current arm (CBS code FLO/013/010) takes a screen of 2 to 7 kg up to 34 inches, flat or curved to a 1000R radius, with 584 mm of horizontal reach and 483 mm of vertical travel — which is enough to put a screen at standing height on a converter or drop it right down for a shared desk.
It moves with one hand, holds where you leave it, and rotates to portrait at the head without tools. Silver, white or black.
The Mechanism
The Dual Rate Spring
CBS's patent-pending Dual Rate Spring is the difference between this and the generation before it. A single-rate spring is a compromise: set it for a light screen and a heavy one sags, set it for a heavy one and a light screen floats. A dual-rate spring changes its effective rate through the travel, so one arm covers 2 to 7 kg and holds position properly at both ends of that range.

The Dual Rate Spring
A single-rate spring is a compromise. CBS's patent-pending dual-rate spring changes its effective rate through the travel, so one arm covers 2–7 kg and holds position at both ends of that range.
The D-Ring Adjuster
Tension is set with the diamond D-ring on the arm, against a printed weight gauge, instead of by counting turns of an allen key. It takes seconds and you can see what you have set it to.
The VESA Head
VESA 75 and 100 compliant, turning between portrait and landscape on fingertip pressure with no lock to release first. A 180° stop function keeps the screen from swinging into the desk beside you.
Three-Point Cable Management
Cables clip in at the head, run through the forearm and drop at the post through a cradle that holds the loop. The mid clip on the current generation is what stops the slack bellying out.
Three Desk Fittings
Split clamp 0–65 mm, top-mount clamp 12–25 mm, or a grommet fitting 10–35 mm through an existing cable port. The fittings are shared across the CBS range, so a mixed floor takes one set of spares.

The Head
Portrait in One Movement
The head is VESA 75 and 100 compliant and rotates between portrait and landscape with fingertip pressure — no lock to release first. Developers and anyone reading long documents turn a screen on its side and leave it there; on a shared desk the next person turns it back.
There is a 180-degree stop function on the arm, which matters when the desk is against a wall or in a bank: it stops a screen swinging into the person beside you.
Cable Management
Cables, Properly
Three-point cable management: the cables clip in at the head, run through the forearm, and drop at the post through a cradle that holds the loop instead of letting it swing. CBS added a mid clip on the current generation, which is the bit that stops the slack bellying out when the screen is pushed back.
The side panels come off and can be swapped, so the arm can be re-finished rather than replaced if a floor changes colour scheme.

Frequently Asked Questions
Check three things: the screen's weight in kilograms (the number that matters most), its VESA hole pattern on the back, and your desk's thickness where the clamp goes. The weight range is in the specifications above; almost every office monitor is VESA 75 × 75 or 100 × 100. CBS gives 2 to 7 kg and up to 34 inches for the Flo. If your screen has no VESA holes, a VESA adapter plate is usually available for it — send us the model on 02 9640 0642 and we will check before you order.
Yes — CBS states up to 34 inches, flat or curved to a 1000R radius, within the 2 to 7 kg weight range. A curved panel puts its mass further from the VESA plate than a flat one of the same weight, so set the tension with the screen actually fitted rather than guessing.
Measure the desk where the arm will go. The split clamp takes 0 to 65 mm and is the default; the top-mount clamp takes 12 to 25 mm and sits more discreetly; the grommet fitting takes 10 to 35 mm and goes through an existing cable port. If the desk has a thick edge beam or a return in the way, send us a photo on 02 9640 0642 and we will tell you which one works.
Weight range and mechanism. The Flo uses a dual-rate spring and covers 2 to 7 kg with 584 mm of reach. The Ollin is cord-balanced and covers 0 to 9 kg with 674 mm of reach and no minimum weight — which is what you want for a tablet, a laptop tray or a very light screen. For a normal office monitor either works; the Flo is the more compact of the two on the desk.
The spring tension is set for the weight of your screen. If the arm rises on its own the tension is too high; if it sags it is too low. Turn the adjuster in the direction marked until the screen stays wherever you put it. It is a normal setup step, not a fault, and it needs redoing whenever you change screens.
