RH Secur24 Basic 24/7 Ergonomic Chair
The RH Secur24 Basic 24/7 Ergonomic Chair (sold as the BMA Secur24 before BMA Ergonomics merged into RH in January 2025) was designed for intensive operations like monitoring or observation that place the highest demand on a chair. Especially when the chair is used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These heavy duty chairs are fitted with extra strong and robust mechanisms and bigger 5-star bases. The height and width adjustable armrests and the ergonomic backrest with pelvic support are built to withstand intensive usage.

24/7 chairs are quick and easy to adjust and extremely comfortable for every user. 24 hour chairs need to be practically indestructible because they are used by different people and in various locations. Therefore the upholstery of these 24 hour chairs is extremely strong, dirt-resistant and easy to clean.
On warranty, Flokk states that it provides a 5 year warranty for RH chairs that are approved for control room 24/7 use, and the Secur24 is one of those chairs. Flokk also states that upholstery is not covered under these terms unless it is an RH approved 24/7 fabric. The 10-year RH term you may see quoted elsewhere is the standard-use term, which covers normal use of up to 9 hours per day for users up to 150 kg — it is not the control room term. The product’s manufacturer literature publishes a maximum (static) load of 234 kg for the Secur24, and the chair offers optimal ergonomic comfort. The multi-adjustable headrest and armrest, as well as intuitive adjustment, make these chairs ideally suited for intensive VDU (visual display unit) work.
