The High-Back Logic
The New Logic 220 is the tall-backed chair in RH's Logic 200 and 220 family. Its backrest stands 620 mm against the 200's 518, and the lumbar support sits lower in its range — 135 to 233 mm above the seat rather than 153 to 257 — so the support meets the small of the back instead of riding up it. For anyone who wants shoulder height behind them, that is the whole difference between the two.
The tilt follows you and locks anywhere, and RH's advice is to leave it open: the seat and back follow you as you lean in and stretch back, and that constant small movement is what a chair like this is for. The backrest angle adjusts separately, through 19 degrees.
Built to Fit the Person
Seat height runs 397 to 550 mm on the standard 4T NPR gas stem, the seat slides from 400 to 499 mm deep, and the seat angle tips from +8.6° to −15.5°. The armrests set between 199 and 315 mm above the seat and 318 to 515 mm apart, which is a wide enough spread to suit most shoulders without the arms fouling the desk.
On top of all that the 220 comes in two seat sizes, standard and extra large. Most ergonomic chairs give you one seat and a lot of adjustment; this one gives you a choice of seat first, which matters more than any single lever if the standard pan has never quite fit you. Call 02 9640 0642 if you are unsure which to order.
The Details
Five Things That Make It a New Logic 220
The tall back, the pictogram controls, the seat, the two sizes and the upholsteries — what separates the 220 from the rest of the Logic family.

A 620 mm Back
Taller than the 200's 518 mm, height-adjustable from 581 to 681 mm above the seat, with the inflatable lumbar support set anywhere from 135 to 233 mm up so it meets the small of your back.

Controls With Pictograms
Every lever under the seat carries a pictogram and sits where a seated hand can reach it. It sounds small; it is the difference between a chair that gets adjusted and one that never leaves its factory setting.

Seat Slide and Seat Angle
The seat is 490 mm wide and 480 mm deep with a rounded waterfall front, slides from 400 to 499 mm to set thigh support, and tips from +8.6° to −15.5° for anyone who likes to perch forward and work.

Standard or Extra-Large Seat
Two seat sizes rather than one. If the standard pan has never quite fitted you, the XL seat is the adjustment that actually matters, and it is chosen at order rather than set with a lever.

Fabric, Leather or ReWool
We hold the 220 in Select SC 60999 and Capture CPT4401 fabric, in black Elmosoft leather with a standard or XL seat, and in ReWool 128 on a polished aluminium base.

Figures are Flokk's own, from the current RH Logic 200 & 220 factsheet; an earlier edition gave 406–550 mm seat height and a 442 × 477 mm seat. Flokk publishes no maximum user weight for the Logic; RH's general warranty condition is users up to 150 kg. Some photographs show upholstery colours from RH's range other than those we hold.
RH New Logic, by Flokk
This Model
We hold the RH New Logic 220 in five configurations: standard and extra-large seats in Select SC 60999 or Capture CPT4401 fabric; black Elmosoft leather with a standard or extra-large seat; and ReWool 128 with a standard seat on a polished aluminium base. Every one has the lumbar pump, height-adjustable armrests and the neckrest. The fabric chairs run on a black aluminium base 680 mm across with castors for carpet; the leather and ReWool chairs have the 4T NPR gas stem and castors for hard floors.
For a chair that runs around the clock, the RH Logic 220 Elite is Flokk's 24/7 version with 20 mm of extra padding. For a different configuration — a coccyx seat, a different gas stem or a coat hanger — call 02 9640 0642 and we will price it. Chair Dinkum is the exclusive Australian distributor for the Flokk group, and the 10-year guarantee on this chair is handled by us in Sydney; terms are on our warranty page.
Why We Stock It
The Logic is the RH chair we reach for when someone wants a proper high back and does not want to think about it afterwards. The five-year redesign with Stokke and Austad went into the things you touch — the levers, the pictograms, the reach — and the result is a chair that gets set up properly by the person sitting in it rather than by whoever delivered it.
It sits between the Mereo and the Secur24 in our RH range: more back than the Mereo 300, less specialised than a 24/7 control-room chair. Call 02 9640 0642 and we will talk through which suits the job, or visit our Pyrmont showroom at 1/209 Harris Street to see what is on the floor. We quote projects directly.

Dimensions
Dimensions and adjustment ranges are Flokk's published figures from the current RH Logic 200 & 220 factsheet, for the standard 4T NPR gas stem; Flokk's other stems give 385–530 (4T), 445–595 (B) and 490–635 mm (A). The chair weight is from Flokk's EPD NEPD-7707-7087-EN and excludes armrests and packaging. XL seat dimensions are not published by Flokk. The Logic 220 Elite adds 20 mm of padding to the seat and back, which raises the seat to 417–570 mm and sets the armrests 179–295 mm above the seat. Flokk publishes no maximum user weight for the Logic; RH's general warranty condition is users up to 150 kg. Guarantee terms are on our warranty page.
Frequently Asked Questions
The back. The 220 is 620 mm high against the 200's 518 mm, and its lumbar support sits lower in the range (135–233 mm above the seat rather than 153–257 mm). Seat, tilt, adjustments and options are otherwise the same. Choose the 220 if you want support up to the shoulders. Our RH buying guide compares it with the Mereo and the Secur24.
The standard seat is 490 mm wide and 480 mm deep and suits most people, with the slide covering 400 to 499 mm of depth. The extra-large seat is the one to order if the standard pan has never fitted you across the hips or under the thighs; Flokk does not publish its dimensions. It is chosen at order rather than adjusted later, so call 02 9640 0642 if you are unsure and we will talk it through.
The Select and Capture fabrics are hard-wearing woven upholsteries; black Elmosoft leather wipes clean and suits a shared or executive chair; ReWool 128 is a wool upholstery, and that chair also has a polished aluminium base. All five chairs we hold have the lumbar pump, height-adjustable armrests and the neckrest. Flokk also offers the Logic 220 Elite, its 24/7 version with extra padding.
Flokk provides a 10-year guarantee on RH Logic chairs in normal use for up to 9 hours per day. Chair Dinkum is the exclusive Australian distributor for the Flokk group, so claims are assessed and handled by us in Sydney rather than routed offshore. Full terms are on our warranty page, and your Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition.
Set the seat height so your feet are flat, slide the seat until two or three fingers fit behind your knee, raise the back so the lumbar support meets the small of your back, set the armrests to your elbow height, then leave the tilt open and let the chair move with you. Every lever carries a pictogram, so you can do all of it seated without looking underneath.
The RH Logic 220 is certified to EN 1335-1-2 Class A, BS 5459-2, ANSI/BIFMA X5.1 and GS, with Möbelfakta and GREENGUARD GOLD. Its Environmental Product Declaration (NEPD-7707-7087-EN) gives 58% recycled content for this model, and Flokk builds it to be taken apart and refurbished, with no glue.
