Lean back and the seat and back move together through up to 20 degrees, with the resistance set by how much you weigh rather than by a spring you have to wind. The mechanism is self-locking, so the chair holds whatever position you stop in, and Humanscale designs it for users from 45 to 136 kg. The dynamic headrest has 125 mm of height adjustment; once set, it follows the backrest so your head and neck stay supported in any posture. The synchronous arms mount to the back frame rather than the seat, so they recline with you, and they adjust through 150 mm of height with one hand.
